Volunteers

We can't give enough praise to our dedicated team of volunteers. We usually have between 20 and 30 people at any one time involved in some way, and they have given vital support to all aspects of the work. Some volunteers help us just for a short time, whilst many others who have been supporting us from the beginning and are still helping out.

Volunteering opportunities include:

• Teaching English
• Classroom assistant
• Advice worker
• Befriender (This can be anything from transporting people to hospital or accompanying them to appointments to offering caring friendship to lonely or vulnerable refugees)
• Mentor
• Football helper
